Guided Configuration - Email
The Guided Configuration screen allows Administrators to configure LiveCompare for its first use, and to maintain an essential set of LiveCompare resources. It is displayed when an Administrator logs in to LiveCompare; and may be accessed by Administrators via the tool button in the LiveCompare Dashboard, or the tool button in the LiveCompare Studio.
Use the Email tab to configure LiveCompare to integrate with your email system. This allows several features to work, including:
-
Allowing users to reset their passwords.
-
Notification emails sent by apps.
-
Emails sent by workflows that are scheduled during the commit configuration process.
-
The Send Email action.
Server Settings
Complete the fields in the Email tab’s Server Settings section as follows to specify the connection details for your email server. You may need to check with your network administrator to determine the appropriate settings.
