LiveCompare Dashboard

The LiveCompare Dashboard provides a graphical summary of the impact analysis results generated by the following apps:

• Smart Impact

• Cross System Impact Analysis

… and the following template workflows:

• Smart Impact Analysis

• Generate Insight Data for Pilots

• Migrate Smart Impact Analysis Results to Smart Insights

The LiveCompare Dashboard is available for LiveCompare Editors by clicking in the studio interface, and Consumers when they first log in to LiveCompare. In the consumer interface, the LiveCompare Dashboard may be displayed by clicking the icon.

Dashboard charts

The LiveCompare Dashboard includes the following charts. These are updated by a scheduled task named Tricentis LiveCompare Dashboard which runs each night on the LiveCompare server.

Test Coverage by Pipeline

For each Pipeline that was used for impact analysis, this column chart shows the number of most-at-risk objects for which a matching test was found in the Pipeline’s Most-at-risk Search Test Repositories. The dates indicate the year and month when the Pipeline was used.

Most-at-risk by Pipeline

For each Pipeline that was used for impact analysis, this column chart shows the number of objects that were identified as Most-at-risk. These objects are recommended for testing. The dates indicate the year and month when the Pipeline was used.

Test Gaps by Pipeline

For each Pipeline that was used for impact analysis, this line chart shows the number most-at-risk objects for which a matching test was not found in the Pipeline’s Most-at-risk Search Test Repositories. The dates indicate the year and month when the Pipeline was used.

Used by Pipeline

For each Pipeline that was used for impact analysis, this column chart shows the number of used objects retrieved for the Pipeline’s Usage System in its PHD tab. The dates indicate the year and month when the objects were used.

Chart conventions

Rest your cursor over a node or column in a chart to display its numerical value. Click the ‘Export to PNG’ button underneath each chart to export the chart to a .png file.

Demo data

A LiveCompare Administrator may set the DashboardDemoData field to X in the Configuration - General screen. In this case, the Dashboard charts will include demo data for two Pipelines named __Demo Pipeline 1__ and __Demo Pipeline 2__. Note that the demo data will be added to the charts when the Tricentis LiveCompare Dashboard task is next run on the LiveCompare server.

Navigation panel

The navigation panel displayed on the left-hand side of each Apps screen, and includes the following icons:

The icons are marked with a vertical bar if they are selected in the navigation panel.

Header

If you have LiveCompare Editor or Consumer privileges, the header section includes a Select Project drop-down list box, which allows the current project to be selected. If LiveCompare is resource group-controlled, the header section contains a Select Resource Group drop-down list box, which allows the current Resource Group to be selected.

The following icons are displayed on the top right-hand side of each Apps screen.

Icon	Description
	Allows you to provide feedback or improvement suggestions for LiveCompare. Log in using your Tricentis Support Portal account details.
	Accesses the Tricentis LiveCompare Consumers playlist from the Tricentis Academy.
	Displays help for the current screen.
	Displays the My Profile screen, showing your user profile.
	Logs out of your current LiveCompare session. The logon screen displays the message ‘You have signed out.’.
