Process Run Details

If a workflow’s ‘Details...’ button is clicked in the Monitoring Process Runs screen, the Process Run screen is displayed. The following details are shown in a number of sections. The Process Run screen also displays the current date and time in the LiveCompare server.

Field Description

Workspace

The name of the workspace containing the running workflow or workflow action.

Workflow

The name of a currently running workflow. Click the workflow’s name to display the workflow.

Run Status Section

Run Status

The execution status of the workflow or workflow action.

User

The name of the LiveCompare user who executed the workflow or workflow action.

Start Time

The start date and time for the execution of the workflow or workflow action. If the ‘Status’ field has the value ‘Scheduled’, this field indicates a future date and time.

End Time

The time and date at which a workflow or workflow action completed successfully.

Elapsed Time

The total execution time for the workflow or workflow action.

Results

The results of an execution. If a workflow or workflow action completed successfully, this field indicates the number of actions that were completed. If the execution terminated with an error, this field displays the associated error message.

The ‘Run Status’ field contains one of the following values:

Value Description

<Blank>

No actions from the workflow are currently running.

Running

The workflow or workflow action is currently running. The ‘Run Status’ field is highlighted in green.

Success

The workflow or workflow action completed successfully.

InQueue

The workflow has been queued for execution. The ‘Run Status’ field is highlighted in pink.

Aborting

The workflow or workflow action is aborting. The ‘Run Status’ field is highlighted in yellow.

Aborted

The workflow or workflow action has been aborted.

Error Termination

The workflow or workflow action terminated with an error. The ‘Run Status’ field is highlighted in red.

Unknown Termination

The workflow or workflow action terminated with an unknown error.

The ‘User’ field contains the name of the LiveCompare user who ran or scheduled the workflow.

Click ‘Abort’ in the Run Status section to abort a running workflow. If the workflow remains in the ‘Aborting’ state for some time, click the ‘Kill’ button to terminate the workflow’s process on the LiveCompare server. When a running workflow has completed or been aborted, click ‘Run’ in the Run Status section to schedule the workflow, or to run it immediately.

Schedule Status Section

This section is displayed for scheduled workflows.

Field Description

Schedule Status

The workflow’s schedule status. This field has a blue background.

User

The name of the LiveCompare user who scheduled the workflow.

Schedule The workflow’s schedule details.

Next run

The workflow’s next run time.

Last run

The workflow’s last run time.

Click ‘Unschedule’ to remove the workflow’s schedule, ‘Disable’ to disable the schedule, or ‘Enable’ to re-enable the schedule. Scheduled workflows may not be modified or run directly in the LiveCompare studio unless their schedules are disabled first. Unscheduling a workflow requires LiveCompare Editor privileges.

To refresh the display periodically after a specified number of seconds, enter a value in the ‘Refresh Interval:’ field and click ‘Set Interval’. To prevent the display from being refreshed, click ‘Stop Refresh’. To refresh the display immediately, click ‘Refresh Now’.
