Vault Folders
Vault Folders are subfolders of the Data/Vaults folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy. If you have LiveCompare Editor or Administrator privileges, these folders allow you to organize the Data/Vaults folder by grouping related Vaults together.
Creating Vault Folders
To create a Vault Folder, carry out the following steps:
- Select the Data/Vaults folder or an existing Vault Folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy, and choose ‘New > Vault Folder’ from the context menu.
- Provide a name for the Vault Folder by editing the folder’s label.
Moving Vaults into a Folder
To move a Vault into a Vault Folder, drag it from its current hierarchy location and drop it onto the target Vault Folder. Vault Folders (along with their contents) may also be dragged and dropped to create nested folders.
Renaming Vault Folders
To rename a Vault Folder, select it in the hierarchy and press F2 or choose ‘Rename’ from the context menu. Provide a new name for the Vault Folder using in-line editing.
Deleting Vault Folders
To delete a Vault Folder, select it in the ‘Data/Vaults’ hierarchy and choose ‘Delete’ from the context menu. A confirmation dialog is displayed. When a Vault Folder is deleted, all of its children are also deleted.
