Object Context Menus - Administrators

These context menu options apply to items in the LiveCompare hierarchy.

Menu Item Description

Shutdown Server...

Available from the Administration folder. Allows the LiveCompare service on the server machine to be shut down. Before clicking the ‘Shutdown’ button, please ensure that no users are currently accessing LiveCompare or running any workflows.

New User…

Available from the Administration/Users folder. Creates a new user.

Email All Users… Available from the Administration/Users folder. Displays the Send Email screen, which allows an email to be sent to all LiveCompare users.
Reset Passwords… Available from the Administration/Users folder. Displays the ‘Reset Passwords’ screen, which allows users with LiveCompare Administrator privileges to specify which native users are required to change their password when they next log in to LiveCompare.
Assign to Teams... Available from the Administration/Users folder. Displays the ‘Assign Users to Teams’ screen which allows users to be assigned to one or more DevOps teams.

New Import Specification...

Available from the Administration/Import Specifications folder. Creates a new Import Specification.

Import Users

Imports user accounts from the selected Import Specification.

New Project…

Available from the Administration/Projects folder. Creates a new project.

New RFC Destination…

Available from the Administration/RFC Destinations folder or an RFC Destinations Folder. Creates a new RFC Destination.

New RFC Destinations Folder

Available from the Administration/RFC Destinations folder or an RFC Destinations Folder. Creates a new RFC Destinations Folder.

Test Connection

Tests the currently selected RFC Destination.

Export RFC Destination Exports the SAP tables required by the Analyze ABAP Quality action from the selected RFC Destination to a cache database. Please do not use this option unless you are asked to by Tricentis Technical Support.
New Test Repository… Available from the Administration/Test Repositories folder. Creates a new Test Repository.
Discover ALM Clients Available from the Administration/Test Repositories folder. Copies the required LiveCompare ALM components to any discovered ALM clients.

Import App

Available from the App Store folder. Allows an App to be imported into the App Store.

New External Data Source...

Available from the Data/External Data Sources folder or an External Data Folder. Creates a new External Data Source.

New External Data Folder

Available from the Data/External Data Sources folder or an External Data Folder. Creates a new External Data Folder.

New Vault...

Available from the Data/Vaults folder or a Vault Folder. Creates a new Vault.

New Vault Folder

Available from the Data/Vaults folder or a Vault Folder. Creates a new Vault Folder.

New Java File...

Available from the Data/Java Files folder. Creates a new Java File.

View Contents...

Displays the contents of the selected Vault.

New Workflow Template Folder

Creates a new workflow template folder underneath the currently selected read-write workflow template folder. The folder is created as a directory on the LiveCompare server.

Create Workspace

Available from the Workspaces folder. Creates a new workspace.

Register Workspace

Available from the Workspaces folder. Registers an existing workspace.

Reload Workspace Reloads the currently selected workspace from the associated SQLite database.
Export Workspace Exports the currently selected workspace to a ZIP file on the LiveCompare server. The ZIP file may be downloaded to a directory on your own machine.

Delete

Deletes the currently selected hierarchy object (if possible). A confirmation dialog is displayed. Note that if a workflow template folder is deleted, any workflow templates or folders it contains are also removed from the server.

Rename

Renames the currently selected hierarchy object (if possible) using in-line editing.

Reload Children

Reloads the children of the currently selected hierarchy object.
