The General tab displays the system and user
account details for the selected RFC Destination. The following details
are shown for the ‘Custom Application Server’ connection type:

The name of the RFC Destination.

Connection Type
This field is
set to ‘Custom Application Server’.
Application Server:
The DNS name, domain name or IP address of
the SAP Application Server.
Instance Number:
The application
instance number of the SAP system used for the connection.
Client:
The SAP client.
Language:
The SAP logon language.
Username:
The SAP user ID used for the connection.
My Name:
The LiveCompare domain account used to authenticate a Secure Network Communication (SNC) connection.
Partner Name:
The partner name used for the SNC connection.
Qop:
The Quality of Protection level used for the SNC connection.
X.509 Certificate:
The X.509 certificate used for the SNC connection.
The following details are shown for the ‘Group/Server
Selection’ connection type:

Message Server:
The DNS name, domain name or IP address of
the SAP Message Server.
Message Server Port:
The Message Server port to be used for the connection.

The application instance number of the SAP
system used for the connection.

The SAP client.
Language:
The SAP logon language.
Username:
The SAP user ID used for the connection.
If you have LiveCompare Editor or Administrator
privileges, click the ‘Edit’ button to edit
the details for the selected RFC Destination. If the ‘OnlyAdminEditsRFCDest’
option has been set in the Configuration - Security
screen or during the installation of LiveCompare, the details for an RFC
Destination may not be modified.
Tables to Ignore
Tables to ignore allow a set of SAP tables to be hidden for the RFC Destination. Click ‘Upload’ to upload a tables to ignore list to the RFC Destination from an Excel spreadsheet; or ‘Download’ to download the RFC Destination’s existing tables to ignore list. These options are not available while an RFC Destination is being edited.
