Running the App

To run the Compare Objects App, select the App from the Apps screen and create an App variant. Set the ‘System1’ field to the RFC Destination for the first system to be compared, and the ‘System2’ field to the RFC Destination for the second system to be compared.

  • To specify a list of objects to compare, edit the ‘Objects’ parameter, and modify the initial object set by the App. Use the ‘Add Row’ button to add additional objects, selecting their type and specifying their name, or the ‘Delete Row’ button to remove the initial object if required. A set of objects may be pasted into the parameter from an Excel spreadsheet.
  • To use a Select List to specify the objects to be compared, edit the ‘Selects’ parameter and modify the initial specification set by the App. Use the ‘Add Row’ button to add additional specifications, or the ‘Delete Row’ button to remove the initial specification if required. A set of specifications may be pasted into the parameter from an Excel spreadsheet.

Click ‘Run’. When the variant has completed, its results may be accessed from the App Cockpit screen.
