Dashboard Report Treemaps

Treemaps are used in the Smart Impact App’s Dashboard report to provide a visual representation of the not impacted, impacted and most-at-risk objects. The count for each category of object is shown in the Treemap’s legend.

Treemaps consist of two basic components:

Nodes

Each node in the Smart Impact App’s treemap represents a used object. The node’s color indicates whether the object is not impacted, not impacted or most-at-risk. The size of each node (relative to the other nodes) indicates the object’s usage count.

Rest the mouse cursor in a node to display the node’s details. In the Smart Impact App’s treemap, these include the used object’s functional area, name, type and usage count.

Containers

Containers are used to group together objects with the same parent, and are displayed with a header row in the treemap. The Smart Impact report’s treemap groups used objects by Functional Area.

Rest the mouse cursor over a header row to display the container’s details. In the Smart Impact App’s treemap, these include the name of the functional area, and the sum of the usage counts for all its objects.
