Extract Tables Actions

Extract Tables actions extract tables from a Table Set dataset. The results are stored in one or more Table datasets.

Action Property	Description
Result1	A Table dataset which stores the table extracted to the ‘Result1’ dataset.
Result2	A Table dataset which stores the table extracted to the ‘Result2’ dataset.
Source	A Table Set dataset containing the tables to be extracted.
Table Names to Params	A Pair List parameter specifying which table names from the Source table set should be mapped to which Result dataset. The first item in each pair refers to a table name from the Source table set. The second item in each pair refers to either the ‘Result1’ or ‘Result2’ action properties.

Example:

To examine the details for an Extract Tables action, double-click the dataset node, or select ‘View Details’ from the node’s context menu. The Details screen displays the number of tables extracted from the Table Set, the number of tables written to the Result datasets and the time taken for the action to complete.

Extract Tables actions support the use of the Define Action Parameters Wizard, which allows new ‘Result’ output parameters to be created with type ‘Table’.
