A.06 - Client change settings

This workflow accesses the T000 table to obtain details for production clients on the specified SAP system. Descriptions for various filed values in the client table are read from an External Data Source. The results are stored in the Client Change Control with Descriptions Table dataset, which has the following columns:

MANDT Client number.
MTEXT Client name.
ORT01 City.
CCCATEGORY Client Control: Role of client (production, test, …)
CCCORACTIV Changes and transports for client-specific objects.
CCNOCLIIND Maintenance authorization for objects in all clients.
CCCOPYLOCK Protection reg. client copy program and comparison tools.
CCNOCASCAD Client Control: No client cascade for upgrade import.
CCIMAILDIS Client Control: Allows CATT processes to be started.
CHANGEUSER The last user to change the client.
CHANGEDATE The date of the last change.
CCCATEGORYT Text description for values in the CCCATEGORY column.
CCCORACTIVT Text description for values in the CCCORACTIV column.
CCNOCLIINDT Text description for values in the CCNOCLIIND column.
CCCOPYLOCKT Text description for values in the CCCOPYLOCK column.
CCNOCASCADT Text description for values in the CCNOCASCAD column.
CCIMAILDIST Text description for values in the CCIMAILDIS column.

Creating RFC Destinations

Before you begin, you will need to create an RFC Destination for the SAP system you wish to analyze.

Preparing the Workflow

To prepare the A.06 - Client change settings workflow, drag its workflow template from the Templates folder into your own workspace, and modify the workflow as follows:

To specify the system to analyze:

  1. Select the System to Audit parameter and choose ‘Edit RFC Destination’ from its context menu to display the RFC Destination dialog.

  2. Select the RFC Destination for the system to analyze, then click ‘Save’.

Save the workflow using the ‘Save’ toolbar button.

Running the Workflow

To run the A.06 - Client change settings workflow, click the ‘Run’ toolbar button, choose ‘Run Now’ from the diagram’s context menu, or press F5. The currently running workflow action is marked with an animated display. When the workflow execution has completed, select the Results_A06 dataset and choose ‘View Details’ from the context menu to display the result table.
