Find Used BW Objects

This workflow populates an External Data Source named BW Usage. This External Data Source is used by the BW Change Impact Analysis workflow. The Find Used BW Objects workflow finds BW Query objects (object type ELEM) using data in the SAP table RSZCOMPDIR. Only active REP-type ELEM objects are included in the results.

Note that the External Data Source is overwritten each time this workflow is run. Used BW objects found by other means should be appended to the External Data Source prior to running the BW Impact Analysis workflow.

The BW Usage External Data Source has the following columns:

Column Description
TYPE The type of a used BW Object.
NAME The name of the used BW object.
COUNT The usage count for the object (arbitrarily set to 1).
