Install NeoLoad scenario test type

The installer of the NeoLoad scenario test type is an archive available in the Download Center of the Neotys website.

HP ALM/Quality Center version 11 needs Neoload plugin version 1.0.
HP ALM/Quality Center version 12 needs Neoload plugin version 1.1.

• To install the NeoLoad scenario test type

1. Log in to the ALM platform host machine with an account having administrator privileges.
2. Unzip the NeoLoad test type archive to <ALM platform installation folder>\application\20qcbin.war. By default, <ALM platform installation folder> is C:\Program Files\HP\HP Application Lifecycle Management Platform on Windows systems and /opt/HP/HP_ALM_Platform on Unix systems.
3. Run the Server Deployment Wizard:
   • On Windows systems, choose one of the following:
     • Start > Programs > HP ALM Platform > Server Deployment Wizard
     • <ALM platform installation path>\bin\run_server_deploy_tool.bat
   • On Unix systems, run <ALM platform installation path>/bin/run_server_deploy_tool.sh
4. If you want an existing project to use the NeoLoad scenario test type, log in to the Site Administration.
5. Run Update Test Types from the Tool menu.
