Menus
Description of the NeoLoad menus:
- File
- New: Displays the New project dialog.
- Open: Opens an existing NeoLoad project.
- Close: Closes the current project and displays the NeoLoad welcome screen.
- Save: Saves the current project.
- Save as: Saves the current project in another directory.
- Import Project: Imports a project into the current project.
For more information, see Import a project. - Export Project: Exports the current project either to disk as a zip file or to NeoLoad Support.
For more information, see Export a project. - Export Project to NeoLoad Web: Exports the current project to disk as a zip file to be uploaded into NeoLoad Web.
For more information, see Export a project to NeoLoad Web. - <recent projects>: Lists the recently-opened NeoLoad projects.
- Exit: Closes the NeoLoad graphical user interface and exits the program.
- Edit
- Undo <last action>: Cancels the user's last action in Design view.
- Redo <last action>: Re-applies the user's last action in Design view.
- Variables: Opens the Variables editing panel. Used to create, edit or delete NeoLoad variables.
For more information, see Variables. - JS libraries: Displays the JavaScript library manager. Used to add, edit or delete JavaScript libraries.
For more information, see JavaScript libraries. - SLA profiles: Displays the Service Level Agreements (SLA) profiles manager. Used to perform all actions on the SLA profiles.

For more information, see Search and Replace. - Preferences: Opens the Preferences panel (global preferences and current project preferences).

- Share: menu activated for the optional Collaboration module.

WARNING: The actions available in this menu are related to the collaboration server type configured. As detailed below, some actions in this menu are associated with an SVN server configuration while the others with a GIT server configuration.- Check Out Project (SVN): Retrieves a project shared on the SVN collaboration server. This command is only available when an SVN collaboration server is configured. For more information, see Configure the connection to a collaboration server.
- Clone Repository (GIT): Retrieves a project shared on the GIT collaboration server. This command is only available when a GIT collaboration server is configured. For more information, see Configure the connection to a collaboration server.
- Retrieve Tag (SVN): Retrieves a frozen version from the collaboration server into a new project.

For more information, see Share a project. - Publish Project: Publishes the changes in a project onto the collaboration server.
For more information, see Publish a project. - Update Project: Retrieves the changes brought by other team members.

- Advanced
- Tag Project (SVN): Freezes a version of the project on the collaboration server.
For more information, see Tag a project. - Replace By Tag (SVN): Replaces the content of the current project with the content of a frozen version from the collaboration server.
For more information, see Replace with a project tag. - Clean up Project (SVN): Unlocks the project after unexpected stop.
For more information, see Clean a project. - Repair Project (SVN): Repairs a copy of the local project if publishing or update is impossible.

- Collaboration Preferences: Displays the Preferences of the collaboration server.

- Record
- Start Recording: Displays the Start Recording dialog.
For more information, see Record a test scenario. - Recording Preferences: Displays the NeoLoad HTTP recorder Preferences.

- Run
- Start Playing: Displays the NeoLoad Runtime section and starts the test for the current scenario.

When a test is running in normal mode, this menu is replaced by Stop test, which allows stopping the test being run. - Start Debugging: Displays the NeoLoad Runtime section and starts the test for the current scenario in debug mode.

- Flag Requests: Displays the Flag Requests dialog.

- Help: Displays the NeoLoad off-line help file.
Context-sensitive help is available by pressing F1; you may also carry out a search in the Search Help toolbar. - Online Documentation Center: Launches the machine default web browser and displays the NeoLoad online documentation center.
