Execute a NeoLoad scenario

You can execute a NeoLoad scenario in an existing Jenkins job.

  • To execute a NeoLoad scenario
  1. Select the job where you want to execute a NeoLoad scenario and click Configure.
  2. In the Build section, click Add build step and select Execute a NeoLoad Scenario.
  3. In the newly created step, enter the information required to execute the NeoLoad scenario.

     
     
     Warning: The NeoLoad Executable field has to be filled in with the path to the NeoLoad executable on the machine that runs the Jenkins jobs.
     If the job is executed on the Jenkins slave, then NeoLoad has to be installed on the slave host, and the path to NeoLoad executable should reference the path on the slave host. It is not possible to execute NeoLoad referencing a remote NeoLoad installation directory "\\remote-location\Program Fils\NeoLoad\NeoLoadCMD.exe". In case of remote execution, use Jenkins slaves.

  4. By default, two NeoLoad trend graphs are displayed, you can also display customized graphs from your NeoLoad project. For more information, see Define NeoLoad Trend Graphs.

     

  5. In the Post-build Actions section, click Add post-build step and select Archive the artifacts.
  6. In the Files to archive field, enter neoload-report/** so that Jenkins saves all artifacts in the Build artifacts.

     

  7. Click the Save button to save your configuration.

• Information: This last action enables you to save HTML summary and JUnit details generated and display the graphs associated.
