Event types
Information is displayed for the following events:
Thresholds
NeoLoad is able to set default alert Thresholds. Counter alert Thresholds can be also modified or added manually. Each alert Threshold defines a condition under which an alert is triggered. When an alert Threshold is exceeded during a test, an alert is generated.
Errors
Errors can be either HTTP errors as defined by the HTTP protocol, listed in HTTP status codes or NeoLoad errors, listed in NeoLoad status codes.
SLAs
An SLA is a set of thresholds that applies to a single statistic (average response time, hit rate, and so on). An SLA belongs to a family of service levels:
-
Per Run: These runtime-based SLAs are evaluated at the end of the test on:
-
the global test statistics; and
-
the global statistics for each element linked to a profile.
-
-
Per Time Interval: These interval-based SLAs are evaluated each time a result is received during test runtime. When a threshold in this family of SLAs is breached, an alert is triggered in real time.
Objective
When filtering Objectives, you can better understand your test results through additional information:
-
Value: Result of the test you executed. It also provides a percentage, which refers to how much your actual test result differs from your initial target.
-
Accuracy:Proximity between your target and the data from your previous tests. For example, if your targets typically match your test results, the accuracy will be high. It's an excellent way to measure the reliability of your targets based on historical performance.
Custom
When synchronizing test scenarios with external processes (monitoring, chaos testing), you can declare external events via the NeoLoad REST API. For more information, see NeoLoad Web API.
Custom events will appear in NeoLoad Web Test Result values and can be viewed in the NeoLoad Web API and in the NeoLoad Web interface.
