Sessions Release Notes

For those using qTest Explorer, we have built out a brand new UI/UX to create, execute, and review all test sessions. The new qTest Sessions experience will include better search, tagging and tracking capabilities along with a brand new feature for automated script generation for Selenium and Protractor frameworks.

• New features:

  1. More export formats in Word, PDF or JPG: Review in Session Editor

  2. Manually upload screenshot(s) to a session in the editor: Attach Files to Session

  3. Automated Script Generator: Automated Script Generator

Known Bugs and Limitations

1. The ability to create and save custom filters is missing as compared to previous version. We planned to add this functionality back in the next release

2. When linking defects to a specific Session, the ability to link external defect is not supported. We also planned to add this functionality back in the next release
