Launch 1.6.2 Release Notes

June 8, 2020

Enhancements

Test scheduling UI

The tree hierarchy within the Test Scheduling UI is enhanced to display the same icons for Test Cases and Test Runs to align with the new icons within qTest Manager.

Schedule and execute Tosca TestEvent from qTest

Launch now has the ability to schedule and execute a Tosca TestEvent that is associated with a Test Cycle in qTest Manager.

Read the Schedule Test Execution for Tosca TestEvent from qTest guide for additional information.

Logging enhancements

qTest Launch now logs clearer, more descriptive log messages when it executes jobs against Tosca. This enhancement eases troubleshooting when executing a job that kicks off tests against Tosca.

Known Issue

When scheduling test execution for 2 or more TestEvents that link to the same ExecutionList in Tosca simultaneously, qTest Launch incorrectly reports the results to qTest Manager. We are aware if this issue and working on the fix for the next release.
