End of support and deprecation announcements

Customers must plan to update the API integrations listed in the End of Support Announcements for qTest topic before upgrading to qTest 2023.5. Important information on API changes and additional deprecations is provided.

TLS connections

Client connections for qTest and PostgreSQL will be configured to use transport layer security (TLS) by default. However, the option to use non-TLS (HTTP) connections is still available at your own risk. A self-signed certificate is provided for convenience, but Tricentis recommends a CA-signed certificate whenever possible.

Supported Versions

As outlined in the Terms of Use (Appendix A - Support Services), Tricentis qTest OnPremises support expires for any software version more than 12 months after any superseding update. Therefore, we recommend that customers keep up with the latest updates and upgrade their software.
