Execute Test Runs

There are several ways to execute Test Runs in qTest Manager.

• Execute Test Runs using Quick Run

• Execute Test Runs with the TestPad only

• Execute Test Runs with the TestPad and Web Explorer

• Execute Test Runs with the TestPad and Desktop Explorer

Edit Test Cases during execution

Sometimes, when you're ready to execute a Test Run, you may notice that the Test Case needs to be updated. For example, the Test Case may be missing some important Test Steps or you may need to modify a precondition. If you have the Approve Test Case permission, you can make changes to a Test Case during execution. When you edit a Test Case during execution, the Test Case is automatically updated as a newly approved version.
