Static menus
The Tricentis Test Automation for SAP Commander user interface contains several static menus that allow you to perform various actions within your workspace. These static menus are always available, unlike the dynamic menus which appear only when you select specific objects.
This chapter provides an overview of the static menus in Test Automation for SAP Commander, and a description of each menu item.

Project menu
Use the Project menu to manage your workspaces. It offers the following options:

About Tosca |
This dialog contains the version number of Tricentis Test Automation for SAP and a list of all installed Test Automation for SAP Commander AddIns. In addition, this window indicates whether Test Automation for SAP Commander is run on a 32-bit system (x86), on a 64-bit system (x64), or if Test Automation for SAP Commander version 32-bit is run on a 64-bit system (WOW64). Click on Support Info to create a .txt file which includes information on the currently installed Tricentis Test Automation for SAP version. In addition, this transfers the settings of the current workspace. This file is saved to %TRICENTIS_ALLUSERS_APPDATA%\Support and can be sent to Tricentis Support in case of enquiries. |

Opens the dialog for logging into Tricentis Server. |
Close |
Closes an open project. |
Home menu
This menu provides you with many of the basic functions you need to work with your workspace. Multi-user projects have additional synchronization functions. The options available in the Home menu are described in the table below:

Selects all tree view items in the current window. |

This opens a dialog window from which you can choose files that should be embedded, referenced, or referenced and managed. |

Scratchbook |
Opens the Scratchbook window (see chapter "Run tests in the ScratchBook"). |

Section |
Lists all sections that can be opened in a workspace window. All section folders that are contained in a ComponentFolder, are provided in the respective drop-down list. |

Update all |
Synchronizes the local workspace with the multi-user repository. |
|
Checkin all |
Loads all local changes made to the project into the multi-user repository and releases all reserved sources. |

Checkout |
The selected elements are checked out of the repository in order to make changes and consolidate them. |

Checkout Tree |
The selected items and all sub-items are checked out of the repository in order to make changes and consolidate them. |

Import Subset |
Opens a dialog window to import a subset (see chapter "Import and export subsets"). |

Export Subset |
Exports the selected objects. |

Manual Test Case |
Starts recording manual TestCases (see chapter "Automated recording of manual TestCases"). |

Automated Test Case |
Opens Test Automation for SAP Recorder (see chapter "Create TestCases with the Recorder"). |

View menu
In the View menu you can configure the view of your Test Automation for SAP Commander workspace. The options available in the View menu are described in the table below:

Enables the graphical visualization of dynamic expressions. By default, graphical visualization is disabled. |

Displays only the last ActualLogs and ExecutionLogs (see chapter "Create an ExecutionList"). If this option is deselected, the results of all previous executions are displayed. |

The Tools menu provides additional tools for Tricentis Test Automation for SAP.

Opens Buffer Viewer window to view and edit buffers (see chapter "Use the Buffer Viewer"). |
API Testing menu
The API Testing menu allows you to work with and manage your API tests. The options available in the API Testing menu are described in chapter "Navigate the API Testing menu".
The ? icon (Help)
Click on the ? icon (Help) in the upper right section of the window to open the Test Automation for SAP Online Help.

Versioning menu
This menu is only visible in multi-user environments and helps you to manage changes to objects in your workspace (see chapter "Handle object versioning").
To display the history of the project, click View Change History for Project.
