Configure SAP Solution Manager Integration

SAP Solution Manager Integration enables you to perform test automation that uses both Tricentis Test Automation for SAP and SAP Solution Manager.

To integrate SAP Solution Manager into Tricentis Test Automation for SAP, follow the steps described in the following chapters:

  1. Get started with SAP Solution Manager Integration

  2. Run the SAP Solution Manager Wizard - go to this chapter if you haven't installed Tricentis Test Automation for SAP LTS Patch 2.

  3. Run the SAP Solution Manager Wizard (since Patch 2) - go to this chapter if you have installed Tricentis Test Automation for SAPLTS Patch 2.

  4. Register SAP Solution Manager service on your machine

  5. Configure SAP GUI options and settings

  6. Prepare SAP Solution Manager

  7. Optionally, configure the SLD.

You can only start Tricentis Test Automation for SAP via SAP Solution Manager on the same desktop machine where you have an active SAP Solution Manager session.

Install SAP Solution Manager Integration

SAP Solution Manager Integration is part of the Tricentis Test Automation for SAP standard installation. You need administrator rights for installation.

You must set the connection type in SAP Solution Manager to Custom Application Server.
SAP Solution Manager Integration supports only the connection type Custom Application Server.
