The trace levels determine which kinds of messages are written/shown. The hierarchy of trace levels is additive, as shown in the table below:

At this level, errors are written/shown. If an error occurs, the processing of the current template is aborted. |

This level additionally shows which user functions are used. This includes any parameters passed as well as any return values. |
Optimize performance of trace output
If you select this option, messages of the data generation process are not displayed (discarded) in the output window. This is important for data generation which generates a large number of messages. This improves the processing performance. The messages of a syntax check will never be discarded. The output in the log file is not affected by this setting.
