Changes made to the project by the Tricentis TDM Wizard for SAP BAPI

With one exception, the TDM Wizard for SAP BAPI does not make any changes to the project settings. In addition, no variable definitions are entered into the project variables.

The exception mentioned above concerns the directories for additional functions. If it does not exist already, the SAP directory is added to the directories. This is shown in Project Explorer. For a description of the functions available in this directory, see chapter "Functions - SAP".

The following elements are added in Project Explorer:

• Under Functions, one or more functions are added which contain the calls of the BAPI functions or business objects configured with the TDM Wizard for SAP BAPI.

• Under Templates, a folder with the name for the generated task is added, as chosen in the TDM Wizard for Databases. This folder contains the templates generated by the TDM Wizard for SAP BAPI.

• Under Tasks, a task with the name chosen in the TDM Wizard for SAP BAPI is added.

If a project is linked to any SAP functions, it is not possible to run non-SAP tasks in this project. To run a non-SAP task, you have to remove the SAP functions from the project. You can, however, keep SAP-related tasks in the project.
