Dialog Choose SAP RFC Target

In the Choose SAP RFC Target dialog, you can select a function or a business object that will be called by a Tricentis TDM Studio function.

Connection String

Specify the connection string that contains the access information needed to connect to an SAP server.

Type of RFC Target

Specify the type of SAP object to be called. You can select Function or Business Object from the dropdown menu.

Business Object

Specify the business object to be used.

This field is only available if you selected Business Object.

Method

Specify the name of the business object method to be called.

This field is only available if you selected Business object.

Function

Specifies the name of the function to be called.

This field is only available if you selected Function.

Protocol to Use

Select the protocol you want to use:

SAP Netweaver RFC: uses the Netweaver protocol to open a SAP connection.
Classical SAP RFC: uses the classical RFC protocol to open a SAP connection.

Test Connection

Check whether a connection to the SAP server can be established with the access information that you entered.

If the fields Function, Business Object, or Method are empty, only the connection string is tested. If these fields are not empty, the system also checks whether the selected objects are available.
