Configure Basic authentication

To configure Basic authentication, follow the steps below:

Enter Username and Password.
To send the authentication details with the first message, enable the Pre-authenticate box.

If you do not enable the Pre-authenticate box, Tosca API Scan sends the first message without authentication and the server sends a challenge.
