Enable CICS protocol

You can enable the Customer Information Control System (CICS) protocol for the API Engine to create a connection to a CICS Transaction Gateway.

This is an API & OSV Early Access feature. For information on how to enable API & OSV Early Access features, see chapter "Options - API & OSV Early Access".

This feature was developed for demo purposes and requires increased configuration effort.

To exchange information with a CICS Transaction Gateway, you can use copybook messages. To work with copybook messages in the API Engine, you have to configure CICS in Tosca OSV as well.
