Visualize Scenarios or Scenario templates

The Sequence Flow Diagram in Tosca Commander maps the progress of Scenarios or Scenario-templates.

You can find your Scenarios in the TestCases section (blue) in Tosca Commander. To access the Sequence Flow Diagram, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on a Scenario.

  2. Select the Sequence Flow Diagram tab. The tab displays the sequence flow diagram.

The systems involved in a Scenario are pictured in different colors:

  • Blue: the system under test.

  • Orange: virtualized systems. If you have not defined a service port, the Sequence Flow Diagram displays the API resource.

  • Green: external systems

Messages are pictured as arrows between the systems, with the message name above the respective arrow. These arrows point from the sender to the recipient.

Messages of a Non-Sequenced Block are surrounded by a frame.

The clock symbol next to a scheduled message indicates when the message will be sent.

Scenario templates provide further items.

Messages that include conditions are pictured as dotted-line arrows. An additional field on the right displays the message condition.
