Install Tricentis Tosca Server

The Tricentis Tosca Server contains the following Tosca web features on the IIS server:

• Tosca Administration Console

• Tosca Distributed Execution Monitor

• Tosca Distribution Server

• Exploratory Testing Server

• Interactive Testing Server

• Tosca REST API Service

• Tosca License Administration

• Test Data Service

• Tricentis File Service

Install Tricentis Tosca Server

You can install the Tricentis Tosca Server in one of the following ways:

• via InstallShield Wizard as described in chapter "Install Tricentis Tosca Server via InstallShield Wizard"

• via command line as described in chapter "Install Tricentis Tosca Server via command line"

The installation of Tricentis Tosca Server also includes the installation of the Tricentis Tosca Server website.

Tricentis Tosca Server website

The Tricentis Tosca Server website allows you to access all server features via one common web interface.

To access the site, type the following URL into a browser window:

Syntax:

http://<server address>:<port>

• Replace <server address> with the name of the host or the IP address of the server.

• Replace <port> with the port number you specified during the installation.

  This is only necessary if you changed the default port during the installation.

If you have set the Tricentis Tosca Server to use an HTTPS binding, type the following URL into a browser window:

Syntax:

https://<server address>:<port>

This example uses an HTTPS binding, the server address localhost and the port 443. https://localhost:443
