Assign users to groups

Within Tricentis User Administration Admins can assign users to a specific group.

To do so, follow the steps below: 

  1. Open the Tricentis User Administration.

  2. Select the group to which you want to assign users. To do so, navigate to the Groups page and click on the Details icon. This takes you to the Details page.

  1. In the Assignments column, click the icon below the Members field.

  1. Select the users that you want to assign by enabling the respective check box in the Select column.

To find a user quickly, you can filter the overview list. To do so, type into the Type to filter ... text field.

  1. Click on Assign Users.

    The column on the right side of the screen displays all users that are assigned to a specific group. If you want to remove a user from the list, select the respective check box and click Remove Users.

  1. Click Save to save your changes to the group.

Remove assigned users

To remove an assigned user from a group , follow the steps below:

  1. Click into the Details page of the group and select the icon under Members.

    You can see the currently assigned users in the panel on the right side.

  2. Select the user or users you want to remove and click Remove Users.

  3. Click Save.
