Module Attributes overview

Module Attributes are business-relevant elements of a message, such as a name, ID, or address. Module Attributes allow you to steer the values of these message elements in your TestCase. You can define Module Attributes for the following elements of a message in Tosca Commander:

Create Module Attributes

Depending on which method you choose when you create your Module Attributes, the system uses different ActionModes. For more information on how to create the right Module Attributes for you tests, see chapter "Create Module Attributes".

Validate and update Module Attributes

Once you have created your Module Attributes, you might want to check whether they are valid or update them. For instance, if you performed any updates or changes to a Module or if your API messages changed.
