Use the Technical View tab

The Technical View tab of an API Module contains the details of the selected API request or response message.

When you select an API Module in Tosca Commander, the view automatically switches to the Technical View tab. It displays the same information as the message section of API Scan and allows you to edit your messages in the same way.

It is not possible to use dynamic expressions in the Technical View. If you want to use an expression such as {CP[Endpoint]}, add it in the TestCase section as described in chapter "Use test configuration parameters in a TestCase".

Work with parameters

The Params tab displays the parameters that define your message. You can add, edit, and delete parameters in the Params tab as described in chapter "Edit parameters".

To specify which of the parameters you want to send with an API request, add a Module Attribute for the parameter and generate the XTestStepValue to steer it in your TestCase.
