Important security update
Classic Java Engine: Security update (since Patch 9)
This patch fixes a potential security issue for Classic Java Engine, which has a dependency on a vulnerable version of log4j. We have closely examined this dependency and don't believe it can be exploited. However, Tricentis takes security seriously. Consequently, the log4j file has been removed from the setup.
New Features
For this patch, we have added the following features:
Hide Soft Hyphens (since Patch 8)
With this patch, we have added a new setting Hide Soft Hyphens.
Object names with special characters (since Patch 8)
The task Jump to Object now works for object names that use special characters.
Distributed Execution with AOS (since Patch 6)
TOS-60169 fixes an issue with expanding repositories if you use Distributed Execution with AOS (see "Resolved issues" below).
If you experience workspace size issues, Tricentis recommends that you archive your execution logs after installing the patch. For information on how to do so, see chapter "Archive your ActualLog".
Encryption of TCPs in database (since Patch 6)
Test configuration parameters (TCPs) which are defined as DataType Password are now stored encrypted in the Database.
Salesforce Engine 3.0 improvements (since Patch 4):
With this patch, you can use the following Salesforce Engine 3.0 features:
The Salesforce Scan generates Save buttons that can be used in both Inline Edit and New/Edit layouts.
Salesforce Engine 3.0 introduces Container properties for Salesforce controls. The use of the Container property assures that controls can be identified uniquely, and that AssociateLabels can be condensed.
All controls in Modules generated by the Salesforce Scan contain the Container property.
The Salesforce Scan generates Related List buttons.
You can scan and steer Salesforce Console expanded lookups in Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Salesforce Engine 3.0 works smoother with its reworked control recognition logic.
Salesforce Scan can scan currency fields with value ranges. Therefore, you can now scan and steer currency fields.
The Save buttons are now reusable between New/Edit layout and Inline edit.
Mobile Engine 3.0 proxy configuration (since Patch 4):
With this patch, you can configure the proxy server for mobile test automation.
