Run Tricentis Neo Engine

After you have installed and configured the necessary components of the Neo Engine, you can use Tricentis Tosca as usual. You can scan controls and run tests with the Neo Engine if the Neo Executor agent is running.

Tricentis Tosca starts the Neo Executor agent automatically if it's not already running.

If you need to start the Neo Executor agent manually, open it from the Start menu. It's located at Tricentis->Neo Executor Agent. When you run the Neo Executor agent, you will see the notification Neo Executor is running in the background in the Windows action center.

When you run the Neo Executor agent for the first time, you have to sign in to your Tricentis Cloud Platform account. If you select the Remember Me check box when you sign in, you won't have to provide your credentials again.

To ensure that the Neo Executor agent is running, go to your system tray and right-click the Neo Executor icon to see if the status is Connected.

The Neo Executor agent doesn't close automatically when you close Tricentis Tosca. To close it, go to your system tray, right-click the Neo Executor icon and select Exit.
