Transfer used values

The Used value column of an ExecutionList shows the values you used in your TestStep. If you, for instance, used dynamic values in your tests, the column displays the actual, used value once execution has finished.

If you want to re-test your TestCases with the actual, used values, you can transfer them back:

• to your associated TestCases

• to your TestSheets or Microsoft® Excel data sources

This option is available for tests created with Classic Engines only.

Transfer used values to the associated TestCase

To transfer used values to the associated TestCase, right-click the ExecutionEntry folder and select Transfer Output values from the context menu.

If you want to verify these values in the next test run, click Yes in the subsequent dialog. In this case, Tosca Commander automatically changes the ActionMode to Verify.

Transfer used values to TestSheets or Microsoft® Excel data sources

To transfer used values to your TestSheets or your Microsoft® Excel data sources, right-click the ExecutionEntry folder and select Update Datasource from the context menu.
