Manage file attachments

In Tosca you can either reference or embed file attachments. Therefore you can choose the following Options:

• "Create a file reference"

• "Create file reference with central storage location"

• "Embed files"

These options are not available if you use Tricentis File Service. In this case, Tosca Commander saves files directly to the file service.

Files can be added to the following objects in Tosca Commander:

• ExecutionList

• ExecutionLog

• Module

• OwnedFile

• OwnedFolder (folders, which contain TestCases or Templates)

• TestCase

• TestStepLibrary

• Project settings

• TestPlanning Sessions or Session users

Linked or embedded files are stored in the Attachments folder beneath the corresponding object. The number in parenthesis indicates the number of files that is linked to this object.
