Tosca OSV Host performance is impacted by many things, for instance system configuration (RAM, CPU), network latency, transport technology (CICS, HTTP), message payload and size (XML, JSON, CP), applied message detection patterns (static, dynamic), clustering physical machines with virtual machines, or JMS middleware.

If you have maximum payload of 500 lines and pattern recognition for detection of maximum two messages, the recommended high-performance requirements allow you to achieve the following performance results:

  • HTTP:
    • Average: approximately 2500 transactions per second (TPS)
    • Maximum: approximately 3000 TPS
  • CICS:
    • Average: approximately 100 TPS
    • Maximum: approximately 125 TPS
