HOST Engine 3.0

The HOST Engine 3.0 provides a stable, consistent testing platform and layout for steering and testing your HOST application via various emulators.

Install the HOST Engine

The HOST Engine 3.0 is part of the Tricentis Tosca standard installation.

The HOST Engine 3.0 uses Tosca TBox for steering HOST controls via emulators. For a list of supported emulators, see the system requirements and check the table below for supported emulator - DLL pairs.

Emulator recognition

The HOST Engine 3.0 can automatically recognize the type of your HOST emulator based on the specific DLL file located in your system. There is no need for additional setup.

Ensure that the path to the folder which contains the emulator-specific DLL(s) is included in the Path system variable.

The HOST Engine 3.0 recognizes and supports the following emulator - DLL pairings. Emulators that are not in the list but use the supported DLL files may also be recognized but are not officially supported. See the table below for information about support for 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
