Dynamic menu - Exploratory Testing

This dynamic menu includes options for Exploratory Testing within the Execution section in Tosca Commander.

Dynamic menu Exploratory Testing

The Create Folder option in the dynamic menu Exploratory Testing provides the following options:

Exploratory Session

Creates a new exploratory session in the selected Exploratory Testing folder (see chapter "Create session").

Ctrl + N, O

Exploratory Tester

Creates a new exploratory tester for the selected Exploratory Session (see chapter "Add testers").

Shortcut

Invite

Invites selected testers to an Exploratory Session, provided that an e-mail is specified in the Tester E-Mail field and that you are connected to the Exploratory Testing Server (see chapter "Invite testers").

 

Uninvite

Uninvites the selected testers from the Exploratory Session if they were invited (see chapter "Invite testers").

 

Import Results

Imports test results of the selected Exploratory Session via Session ID or of the selected Exploratory Tester from the Exploratory Testing Server into Tosca Commander (see chapter "Import test results").

 

Import Results File

Imports the results file of the selected Exploratory Tester or Exploratory Testing folder into Tosca Commander (see chapter "Import test results from the results file").

 

Reschedule Session

This reschedules the selected Exploratory Session (see chapter "Create session").

 

Create

Creates a new scenario and opens it in the Scenario Manager (see chapter "Record scenario").

 

Start from Test Case
->Start New Scenario based on [TestCase]

Creates a new scenario based on a linked TestCase (see chapter "Record scenario").

 

Continue Selected

Opens the selected scenario for editing in the Scenario Manager.

 

Scenario Documentation

Opens the Export Options dialog to select export options for the Scenario Documentation of the selected scenario (see chapter "Export exploratory testing results").

 

Manual Test Case

Creates a manual TestCase based on the selected scenario. The created TestCase is opened in the TestCases section.
