Switching between revisions

The status of a test project can be reverted to any revision in Tosca. By doing so, all changes made until the selected revision are discarded. In order to complete this operation, all affected objects must be checked out. The available revisions can be seen in the window Change history (see chapter "View change history"). We recommend updating your workspace before reverting to a revision.

Deleted objects that are restored when the revision is reverted are marked as new objects. The ID of the restored objects is maintained.

Procedure

  1. Switch to the menu Project->Info and select the option Revert To Revision.

  2. Click the OK button in the next dialog box to switch to another revision.

Note

  1. In the subsequent dialog box, select the required revision based on the change history. Confirm your selection by clicking OK.

Select revision

When attempting to revert objects that are not checked out, an error message is displayed. Click on OK to show a list of objects which must be checked out.

Check out the listed objects via the context menu and restart the revert to revision procedure (step 1).

  1. The next dialog window shows how many objects are affected by the operation. Click on OK to start the process.
