WPF I Installing the Engine

The Tosca WPF Engine is automatically installed as part of the Tricentis Tosca standard installation.

All information regarding software versions and hardware requirements for the engine is available in the "System Requirements for Tricentis Tosca 14.2 LTS".

Installing custom controls

Custom WPF controls are not part of the Tricentis Tosca standard installation. To obtain them, please contact Tricentis Support.

The PBControls.dll file that is contained in the package must be copied to the following directory: %TRICENTIS_HOME%\dll\WPFForms\CustomControls. This file is an additional Control Library for the Tosca WPF Engine.

If the setting Special Engines->WPFFormsEngine->WPFFormsDll has been modified, the PBControls.dll file must be saved under the name CustomControls to a subdirectory of the specified storage location.

The value of the setting Special Engines->WPFFormsEngine->CustomCtrls must be set to PBControls.dll to be able to use the extension. Any existing extensions can be specified if they are separated by semicolons.

PBControls.dll only works with WPF applications that were compiled with Powerbuilder.
