Raise issue proposals

Testers can raise issue proposals in the to inform test managers about potential defects or to create feature requests.

To raise an issue proposal in the Interactive Testing Agent, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Raise Issue icon in the Interactive Testing Agent ribbon menu.

    If you have already raised issues for the selected TestCase the Raise Issue icon offers a drop-down menu that lists the existing issues. You can edit and update the existing issue proposals. For more information, see edit the issue proposal.

Raise an issue in the Interactive Testing Agent

  1. Define the details of the issue. You can also edit the issue proposal later on.
  2. Set the Type, Priority, Name and Descriptionof the issue:

    • Type: The raised issue can be a Defect or a Feature request.

    • Priority: The severity of the issue can be Low, Medium or High.

    • Name: It is mandatory to fill in the Name field, otherwise the Raise button is disabled.

    • Description: General explanation of the issue.

Raise an issue in the Interactive Testing Agent

  1. Click the Raise button to raise the issue proposal.

The current TestCase will include automatically the raised issue proposal.

Edit issue proposal

To edit your existing, earlier raised issue proposal to update or delete information, follow the steps below:

  1. Click lower section of the  Raise Issue icon in the Interactive Testing Agent ribbon menu and from the drop-down menu select the issue proposal you want to edit .

Update an issue in the Interactive Testing Agent

  1. Update the required Type, Priority, Name and Description fields of the issue. For information about the fields, see Define issue details.

    It is mandatory to fill in the Name field, otherwise the Update button is disabled.

Edit an issue in the Interactive Testing Agent

  1. Click the Update button to update the issue.

    Alternatively you can also delete the raised issue.
