Create OSV Scenarios
Every system under test (SUT) is different. Depending on your system's requirements, you can create OSV Scenarios with different tools and in multiple ways.
You can use the following methods:
-
Create Scenarios from API Scan messages and export them to Tosca Commander.
API Scan allows you to record the structure and functions of an API by scanning it. You can export the API messages it creates as OSV Scenarios to Tosca Commander for further tests.
-
Create Scenarios from API Scan messages and export them directly to OSV.
In this case, the system automatically creates OSV Scenarios for the API Scan messages and adds all Module Attributes and ActionModes it needs to run them in OSV.
-
Convert API TestCases into OSV Scenarios.
If you have already created API TestCases in Tosca Commander, you can simply convert them into OSV Scenarios to run them in an OSV Environment.
-
Use messages that you record directly in OSV.
The Tosca OSV Monitor includes a recorder that allows you to record the traffic between your SUT and a real service. It records the requests and responses they exchange and allows you to create OSV Scenarios from them.
