Creating issues

An issue is either of the type Defect or FeatureRequest. In both cases, the issue can be linked to a TestCase Log.

Create issues in the Issues or in the Execution section (see chapter "How to create issues for an ExecutionEntry or a TestCase Log").

  1. Open the Issues section.

  2. Right click onto the Issues folder and select either Create Defect or Create FeatureRequest from the context menu.

Tosca Commander creates a new issue of the chosen type and automatically offers to rename it.

  3. You can either assign a new name, or you use the default name <New Defect> or <New FeatureRequest> by pressing Enter.
