Options - Tosca Data Integrity

If you have installed Tosca Data Integrity (Tosca DI) on your machine, the following options are available under Project->Options->Tosca Data Integrity:

Enabled

If enabled, the Tosca Data Integrity AddIn is enabled and all related options are available in Tosca Commander. This requires a valid license for Tosca Data Integrity.

Default Source Database Type

Specifies the default value for the DB Type drop-down menu for source databases in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard.

Default Target Database Type

Specifies the default value for the DB Type drop-down menu for target databases in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

Create Metadata Checks by default

If enabled, the creation of TestSheets for Metadata tests is enabled by default in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

Create Completeness Checks by default

If enabled, the creation of TestSheets for Completeness tests is enabled by default in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

Create Uniqueness Checks by default

If enabled, the creation of TestSheets for Uniqueness tests is enabled by default in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

Create Referential Integrity Checks by default

If enabled, the creation of TestSheets for Referential Integrity tests is enabled by default in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

Create Nullness Checks by default

If enabled, the creation of TestSheets for Nullness tests is enabled by default in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard.

Default table match method

Specifies the default value for the Match Method drop-down menu in the Vital Checks: Database to Database Wizard and the File to Database Vital Checks Wizard.

Default file load delimit character

Specifies the default value for the Delimit character(s) input field in the Pre-screening: File Wizard and the Vital Checks: File to Database Wizard.

DB2: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in DB2 databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

Oracle: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in Oracle databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

MS-SQL-Server: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in MS-SQL Server databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

Netezza: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in Netezza databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

Teradata: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in Teradata databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

Custom: Default numeric data types

Defines a comma-separated list of database types in custom databases for which numeric tests can be applied.

A custom database is any database but DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Netezza or Teradata.

Maximum number of tests to run in parallel (requires 1 parallel execution license per concurrent test)

Specifies the maximum number of tests run in parallel.

Auto Instantiate Templates after Wizard

If enabled, Tosca DI instantiates TestCase Templates for database field tests when finishing the corresponding Wizard.

DB2: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for DB2 databases.

Oracle: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for Oracle databases.

MS-SQL-Server: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for MS-SQL-Server databases.

Netezza: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for Netezza databases.

Teradata: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for Teradata databases.

Custom: Default quoting character(s) to enclose column names

Defines which characters enclose the column names in your SQL statements for custom databases.

Early access: Enable Referential Integrity tests on metadata from ODBC driver

By default, you cannot create Referential Integrity tests on metadata if you read the metadata from the ODBC driver.

To create Referential Integrity tests on metadata, enable this early access option.
