Settings - Wizard
The chapters below describe the Tosca Wizard settings, which are required to steer engine-specific applications. These settings can be configured in the Settings dialog, under Settings->Wizard-><Technology>.
Description |
Directory containing WizardMappings.dat Multiple files can be specified, separated by semicolons. The order of the files is determined by their priority, i.e. the first file entry has the highest priority, whereas the last entry has the lowest priority. The files are searched from left to right, starting with the highest priority. The first occurrence is always used. |
Example |
${TRICENTIS_HOME}\dll\dat\WizardMappings.dat |
Description |
Enables or disables the Hotkey function. Tosca Wizard has to be re-started if this setting is modified. |
Example |
Disable |
Exportdirectory |
|
Description |
Directory for the ObjectMaps created by the Wizard. |
Example |
@{TEx.ObjectMaps.ObjectMap Directory}\wizardexport |
FullPath |
|
Description |
Folder containing the TOSCAWizard.exe |
Example |
${TRICENTIS_HOME}\dll\TOSCAWizard.exe |
Description |
Specifies a key which starts the scan process of Tosca Wizard. Possible values are listed in the table below. We recommend selecting a hotkey which is hardly used in the test environment. The F11 key, for example, switches the browser to full screen mode in Microsoft® Internet Explorer and should thus not be used as a hotkey in web applications. |
Example |
F12 |

Description |
The status bar shown upon the scan process with Tosca Wizard can be displayed or minimized with this setting. |
Example |
False |
Description |
If this setting is enabled, a warning message will be displayed if the TechnicalID of an item is empty. |
Example |
True |
Description |
This setting serves to specify whether the start screen of the test object should be automatically saved (enabled) or not (disabled) upon scanning or synchronizing with Tosca Wizard. The created screenshot is assigned the name of the ObjectMap of the newly created Module. These automatically created screenshots are specified via the Options dialog (see chapter "Options - General"). |
Example |
True |
Description |
The Siebel Engine must be activated to be able to scan Siebel applications in a browser window. For this purpose this value must be set to True. |
Example |
False |
Wizard specific settings for the various engines are described in the corresponding engine documents. |
