Steer App Launcher

App Launcher enables you to navigate between different Salesforce applications.

The way you scan and steer App Launcher depends on your Salesforce interface:

Steer App Launcher in Salesforce Classic

In Salesforce Classic, App Launcher consists of the following elements:

  • App Launcher menu. XScan identifies it as a ComboBox. You can steer it as described in chapter "ComboBox".

  • All apps dashboard which appears after you click All apps. XScan identifies the items on this dashboard as Links. You can steer them as described in chapter "Link".

Steer App Launcher in Salesforce Lightning Experience

In Salesforce Lightning Experience, App Launcher consists of the following elements:

  • App Launcher button. XScan identifies it as a Button. You can steer it as described in chapter "Button".

  • App Launcher menu. XScan identifies the items in this menu as Links. You can steer them as described in chapter "Link".

  • All apps dashboard which appears after you click View all. XScan identifies the items on this dashboard as Links. You can steer them as described in chapter "Link".

In this example, you perform the following actions:

  • You click the App Launcher button in Salesforce Lighting Experience.
