Create and manage Salesforce Modules
Salesforce Modules are XBrowser Modules.
You can create Salesforce Modules in the following ways:
-
Scan your Salesforce application with XScan and select the controls that you want to steer. For information on how to scan Salesforce with XScan, see chapter "Scan Desktop applications".
-
Use the Salesforce Scan. The Salesforce Scan connects to your Salesforce instance and automatically creates Modules from all controls that it can access. You can also easily rescan your Salesforce Modules.

Create unique controls with XScan
In Salesforce Lightning Experience, you can have more than one editor open at the same time:
-
Inline edit
-
New/Edit layout
To ensure that the controls are unique and steerable, Tricentis recommends that you have only one editor open when you scan your Salesforce application with XScan.
If you scan your Salesforce application with more than one editor open, some controls, for example the buttons Save, Save&New, and Cancel, might not be unique, so you won't be able to steer your Salesforce application.
