Create Modules and ModuleAttributes manually

Once you have created a Module, you are able to create ModuleAttributes manually and you can add properties.

  1. Select the folder in which the new Module should be created.

  2. Select the option Create XModule from the context menu. You can also left-click on the Module folder and select Create Object->XModule from the dynamic menu Modules.

  3. Tosca Commander will create a new Module at the required position and automatically offers to rename it. We recommend that you assign a meaningful name to your Module.

For further details on Module properties, see also chapter "Default properties for Modules".

  4. Select the option Create ModuleAttribute from the context menu of the XModule to create ModuleAttributes. You can also left-click on the Module and select Create Object->ModuleAttribute from the dynamic menu Modules.

The context menu option Create Folder and the option Create Folder->Folder in the dynamic menu Modules enable you to create new folders. These folders help you structure the tree view and arrange your Modules accordingly.
