You can export project definitions if you want to use them in another project.
This includes the following project definitions:

Open the Project window via the menu entry Home->Project (see chapter "Get to know the project root element").

Select the project definition or definitions to be exported. If you need to export all project definitions, select the project root element. In this example the Project Definition for User_1 will be exported.

Select Export Project Definitions from the context menu.

In the following dialog, specify where the export file will be saved. The file type Tosca Project Definition (*.tpr) is selected as default type.
If you would like to import a project definition file in Tricentis Tosca versions prior to 10.3 you have to select the export file type Tosca 10.2 Project Definition (*.tcd). |

Import Project Definitions

Open the Project window via the menu entry Home->Project and select the project root element (see chapter "Get to know the project root element").

Select Import Project Definitions from the context menu.

Select the .tpr or .tcd export file to be imported from the subsequent dialog and click on Open to start the import process.
Tricentis Tosca versions prior to 10.3 can only read files with the file extensions .tcd.

After the project definitions have been imported, any changes made are displayed in the window Import Project Definitions.
If you want to undo your changes click on the button.
