Tricentis Tosca update notes provide relevant information on available update packages that you can download and apply if you use Tricentis Update Service.

Tricentis Update Service is in technical preview state and it is provided to you for evaluation, beta or release candidate purposes. Therefore, Tricentis doesn't guarantee full functionality of Tricentis Update Service in the current Tosca version; it's provided “AS IS” without indemnification, support, or warranty of any kind, express or implied, unless otherwise required by law. Tricentis Update Service shall terminate immediately upon notice in our sole discretion. By accessing, browsing, clicking on an Accept button, installing, copying or otherwise using Tricentis Update Service, you accept this pre-release testing Agreement.

Update packages contain Engines 3.0 fixes for your installed version. Tricentis Update Service applies these fixes by copy-paste deployment so you don't have to install them.

Fixes in update packages also come as part of patches, however update packages may be available earlier than patches. Therefore, if you only need Engines 3.0 updates for your installed Tricentis Tosca version, you don't have to wait for patch releases.

Download and apply update packages

To apply Engines 3.0 fixes that the update packages contain, make sure that you completed all actions to enable Tricentis Update Service.

To download and apply Engines 3.0 fixes, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Tricentis Support Portal and download the update packages manually or use the Update Package Download Tool for automatic download.

The rest of the process is automatically done by the Tosca client, which unpacks the packages, applies, and loads the changes for the user's installed Tricentis Tosca version.

Up to now, there is no update package available for Tricentis Tosca 15.2 LTS.

Tricentis Tosca update packages are cumulative. The most recent update package for a specific engine contains the newly added features and fixes as well as those from previous update packages for this Tricentis Tosca version. You only need to download the latest update package available for a specific engine.
